Big change in personal finance tracking 🙂
Moved to YNAB finally. YNAB is awesome. It is probably the best tool available out there for budgeting. However, it’s reporting functionality sucks both in web & mobile.
To fill the missing reporting function, learnt Power BI from scratch. I had no prior experience with it, then integrated Power BI with YNAB using API and created various reports for tracking cashflow & networth history. Still exploring it. No more playing around with data in spreadsheet. Spreadsheet was fun but very time consuming and error prone and not scalable.
Some screenshot from my PowerBI personal finance reporting. Please let me know what do you think about it ? If there is enough interest, I will write a step by step instruction on how to achieve this.
Market bounced and so did my networth 🙂
